Walking the Sea Wall

We have taken a few mornings and joined Elder and Sister Whitehead as they walk the Sea Wall early in the morning.

Great exercise and each time we see something
different.  Sometimes the tide is in and sometimes it is way out.

Tiny crabs come up when the tide is out!

Flower from out of a tree; need to find the name of this -- so delicate that as Ed picked it up, the white petals fell off immediately!

There are buildings under construction; and of course Elder Collins needed to take these pictures AND explore.

"Fine Mahogany form lumber"  ....:)

Another find when the tide was out; these copper pots are now part of our decor on the kitchen table.

Whiteheads' Corolla, that we shared for the first month of our mission, under one of the trees by the Sea Wall--waiting for us while we walked!

One morning, just lately, the water was like the ocean with waves and splashing up onto the walkway. Really quite fun!  (Reminds us of Sister Jennica Williams as she greeted the Mississippi River!)

Benches and playground equipment are quite colorful along this walkway!

She couldn't resist!!!

Ed calls this the "NO - NO" Park.

Love this type of tree; and they are all over!

How Orchids are grown....  attached to a Palm Tree Core.

And now, after a month of walking, we have our own Hyundai Tucson that waits for us along the path.

The delicate blossom Ed is holding looks like it might be a Mimosa Tree blossom.....judging by its color and structure. Did it also smell wonderfully sweet? We have Mimosa Trees here in the US but they are considerably smaller. Harry and Karen

Hi Brother Collins and Sister Collins! This is Cari Filippone. I was recently told about your blog and LOVE following it. I have showed Cloee your pictures and read her some of what you write about. She loves it and always tells me how much she misses you both. I think it is cute because she considers you 2 separate people- "Brother Collins" and "Sister Collins". I talk to her about "Brother and Sister Collins" but she tells me that is wrong and corrects me so that I say Collins after both Brother and Sister.
She saw Sister Collins swinging and her first response was, "There's no one pushing her. Why isn't Brother Collins pushing her?" It made me giggle and I told her he was probably taking the picture. Then she sighed and said, "I wish I could swing with her and push her so Brother Collins could take the picture of us swinging together." She misses you both!
