Elder John and Sister Marsha Aland are our ITEP coordinators from New Zealand; they have been on the island of Tonga for part of their mission as an ITEP couple; and have now been brought into the Area Office to replace the Jacobsens.
They visited Fiji when they came to Nadi to the Summit in June--but now came for a visit to Suva to see us and the school. We had some really great informal meetings with them alone; and then with the Deckers.
We also toured the Suva area---had our picture taken together in front of the Presidential Residence near Thurston Gardens....
We had lunch at Governors:
We also ate on Tiko's Boat--great food and a real wavy experience. And we toured Pacific Harbor--ate the best hamburgers ever! at Water's Edge. Then we met two young Tongan girls who were here to get their passports for going to BYU Hawaii. They knew the Alands when they were on Tonga; and we had the privilege of having them in our home while they were waiting. Elizabeth and Seini
